The purpose is to have the widget in front of you all the time so you know how many more cigarettes you can smoke till the deadline or how much you are paying for cigarettes each day e.t.c. You can set your personal quitting agenda  and start a countdown for it.

MyQuitLine is an iPhone application that allows you to get expert advice and support whenever you need it. Simply call the hotline to talk with an expert or get help by chatting live. These experts are trained councelors at the National Cancel Institute Quitline and can help you with tips and suggestions to overcome/minimize the urge to smoke.

QuitSmoking is a small facebook application that lets you track how many cigarettes you have smoken each day. You can monitor your progress over the time, see how much you have saved and set plans to spend the save money on something you like.

5. Tips on Twitter:

If you find yourself using Twitter quite often, follow some users like @QuitSmoking123 or get updates from topics like #QuitSmokingTips so you can receive a lot of tips and suggestions everyday. These tips will be coming in multiple times a day and will keep you from reaching for another cigarette.

    it is really hard to Quit Smoking. currently, i am using Nicotine Patches to curb may addiction to smoking and nicotine.
