Amazon’s self storage service (S3) is becoming increasing popular because of its scalability and reliability. However, the lack of a graphical interface makes it hard for everybody to use S3. But with the tools mentioned below, you will be able to do everything with S3 that you have ever wanted without any hassle.

1.Cloudberry

Cloudberry Explorer for Amazon S3 makes the management of files in Amazon S3 easy.  Cloudberry provides a user interface to the accounts and files of Amazon S3 so that you can easily store and manage files as you would do on local computer.

2. S3 Browser 1.8

S3 Browser is a free interface which is designed for Amazon S3. There are number of features of S3 Browser. You can easily manage your Amazon Buckets and files, make use of user friendly interface, use drag and drop support, create public URLs to share information and utilize the full unicode support.

3. S3 DAV

S3 DAV supports the backup tools of S3. S3DAV itself is not a backup tool. It is useful to provide WebDAV front-end to S3 storage. This will allow you to use many other S3 tools with ease. Java is the primary requirement for S3DAV.

6. Duplicity

Duplicity is used to make backup of directories by producing encrypted-tar format volumes and then getting them uploaded to local or remote server. Duplicity uses librsync, which means that incremental archives can utilize space efficiently and only record those parts of files that have changed since last backup. Duplicity signs these archives so that they can be kept safe from any modification by server.

7. S3 solutions

S3 solutions have been developed by the programmers to assist the Amazon S3 service. 26. S3fish

S3Fish has been developed using .NET 3.0 and C#. It has an interface that can be easily integrated with any .NET application. S3Fish allows you to manage multiple S3 accounts. Adding and removing buckets is fairly easy with it. File sharing can be done using templates. It is an opensource service.

27. s3-Util

S3-util is a command line utility that is designed for users for convenient management of data on Amazon S3 buckets. It features getopt interface and configuration that is XML portable to easily integrate scripts.

28. S3 Bucket Master

S3 bucket master is a utility for managing files and objects stored in S3. It supports the addition and deletion of buckets, managing access control keys, encryption and compression and browsing stored keys.

29. Memba Velodoc Outlook Add-In

Memba veldoc outlook add-in allows the users to send large files from Microsoft Outlook 2003 using several server platforms. Servers that support this service are Velodoc XP Edition, Velodoc Enterprise, FTP servers and Amazon S3.

30. Bonkey

32. Js3tream

JS3tream was written to provide easy streaming of data back and forth from Amazon S3. This is not a backup solution but it is coupled with tar or ZIP. JS3Tream provides with a very strong backup solution.

33. Quillen

Quillen backs up your important documents to your Amazon S3 account. It is a simple command line tool. It directly deals with the servers. When you backup a file or directory, Quillen places them in a snapshot. For the given point in time, the snapshots remain there and later on they are stored in your local disk.

34. WinS3Fs

WinS3Fs is a project for Windows which was equivalent for Linux project S3Fs. Also it was designed to provide unhindered access to the files on Amazon S3.

    * Specify an outgoing transfer limit for each bucket. You can set a limit for the time periods month, week, day and hour.
    * Protect yourself from going bankrupt by limiting the outgoing traffic of your buckets.
    * Track your S3 outgoing traffic statistics for each bucket.
