They say there’s an artist within each one of us, and when it comes to Mac users, the Color Splash Studio has undoubtedly helped them go free with their creative juices while editing photos for special effects. Well, now there’s good news for iPhone users! The Color Splash Studio app has recently been released for the iPhone, with great riders to the deal.

You can choose any of the three ways to load photos to the studio before you begin editing—use the Take Photo option from the app, import snaps from your Facebook albums or bring in photos from the stock Photos app. Once you have done the preliminary resizing and cropping, you can get started with editing, the major part of which is choosing from the Dramatic Effects that the app offers. Soft, Dreamy and Hard Light are currently the effects choices, to which you can add monochromatic layers like the Sepia or Grayscale.

That’s not where your creativity gets capped; you can even edit specific areas manually using the popular Brush menu, and explore the More Tools options for a plethora of exciting mixtures of effects. Integrating sharing features for Instagram, Flickr, Facebook and Twitter, you couldn’t ask for more now that the app allows you to send the image as a postcard using the Sincerely Services.
