Diagram.ly is a web app that lets you draw all kinds of diagrams and information graphics right from your browser. The app is self-explanatory and neatly organized. In fact, there is no welcome page, no distractive elements on there at all. You get straight to the drawing part.
When drawing, you can choose shapes from several categories, such as general shapes (triangles, lines), ClipArt, Computers (monitor, hard drive), People (doctor, businessman). You can also connect these shapes or add text to them. You can save your finished diagram in several formats. Currently, it is only possible to draw a diagram by yourself, but the founder announced that collaborative features will soon be implemented.
Diagram.ly is probably most useful for technical explanations and presentations, but since it requires no previous knowledge and has an intuitive user interface, others can benefit from it, too. The only thing diagram.ly is lacking as of now is a short introduction page or a FAQ section about more advanced features.
Diagram.ly is free and works in a browser.
