Was there a time in the past where you tweeted about things and now regret doing so? Much like the mistakes we made in the past sometimes make us wish to go back in time and undo them, whatever we share on our social media accounts are much the same way. While Facebook’s timeline does a fine job in reminding us of what we shared in the past, Twitter users with Android or iOS devices now have the option to delete a bulk of the tweets they made on their accounts with the newly launched Delete Tweets: DLTTR app.

The app allows you to get rid of a large number of tweets you might have posted during a certain time period in the past. This may include tweets you made during the past hour to the time since you made your very first ever tweet on your Twitter account. With Delete Tweets: DLTTR, you can delete tweets from more than one account simultaneously.

The app is fairly simple to use. After downloading and installing the app, you need to provide your account information so that the app can gain access to your Twitter ID. When you are through with the authorization process, you can then choose the period from which you want to delete your tweets from. Select the tweets and then press the ‘Delete’ tab. After deletion, your account receives an automatic update from the app and a tweet confirming that your tweets were successfully deleted.
