TweetFeel is a Twitter application that allows you to see how people feel about a certain topic on twitter. When you search for something on TweetFeel, it analyzes a lot of recent updates related to that topic and identify each message as either positive or negative. These positives and negatives are then accumulated to get to a percentage that reflects the overall sentiment of people.
TweetFeel filters emoticons as well as keywords to identify the sentiment of a message. This can be a really useful tool if you want to find out how people feel about a recent controversial topic or how a new brand/product is doing in the market.
