Greeting cards have always had their own charm, whether we talk about the conventional paper greeting cards or the e-greetings that a number of websites help you send out to your loved ones. Hallmark, one of the leading producers of greeting cards, has come up with an app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch called Hallmark Go.
Marked by its sleek user interface and the characteristic layouts that Hallmark is globally known for, the app contains a variety of card templates which you can personalize by adding your own images, text and even by putting your signature on the cards. The good thing about the app is that after determining your reason and taste in cards, it recommends you an assortment of cards from its available collection which might suit your description.
In order to find the addressees, the app manages to pull contacts from your Apple device itself and Facebook account. However, it does not provide much room for sharing through social networking, except for a message it allows you to post on your wall that you used the app to send out a card to somebody.
The cards available on the app are divided into five broad categories namely ‘Birthday’, ‘Just Because’, ‘Love & Flirts’, ‘For Laughs’ and ”Well Wishes’, with the addition of cards that go along with a certain time of the year. For instance, these days the app has a good collection of cards for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
Hallmark Go can be downloaded for free from iTunes. However, it will cost you an additional $3,49 if you want to print the card out and send it to someone via post.
