If you just got Vista, you must have noticed the User Account Control (UAC) warning that pops up every now
then. It is a good security feature that Microsoft built in the OS, but those of us who have an administrator rule or have other security features, can do without it.
Here is how to disable it:
1. Go to Control Panel and click on the User Accounts option
2. Click User Account one more time.
3. Choose “Turn User Account Control On or Off”.
4. Uncheck the UAC box and click OK.
You are all set. The annoying UAC messages would not pop-up any more.
