Tumblrs often have a fine selection of music, and you may wish to snatch up a favorite track from someone’s blog or reblog a piece. Don’t know how? It’s easy enough, so simple that it can be done in only two easy steps. We’ll start with how to do it via Firefox, and go from there.
- First, look up the ‘greasemonkey’ add-on and download it. It allows you to add things to scripts and web pages at your leisure. Or, if you’re less technically inclined, lets other add-ons do it for you. Install, and then restart Firefox.
- Then, look up Tumtaster, a lovely little add-on that does almost all the work. Again, restart Firefox.
And there you have it! Tumtaster will then create download links for every Tumblr track you see from then on out. Well, on your computer and Firefox, at least. Snatching music becomes nothing more than a few clicks and a bit of saving.
Chrome users, however, have it even easier. The creators of Tumtaster made an add-on called ChromeTaster, which does pretty much the exact same thing. Install, reset, and from that point forth? Music downloads are all ready to select and choose from.
So, there you have it! Music from Tumblr in 2 easy steps. Start expanding your music collection today!
