Ever come across an article or document which you really wanted to read and know about but unfortunately it was in a different language and you had to let it go? Well, you don’t have to worry about it any more as Zoho and Google Translate are here to help you out.
IF the PDF or Word document is not password protected, it can be easily converted into another language using Google Translate. Here, follow these simple steps and decode the text:
Step 1: Log on to viewer.Zoho.com
Step 2: Choose your PDF or Word file to upload, check on the ‘publish your document’ than click on ‘view’. You could also upload xls, ppt and other similar Office files.
You will see the content of uploaded file in Zoho viewer
Step 3: Copy the unique URL when you see your file content. Now go to Google Translate, select the original language of the document and the desired language you want the translation in. Paste the URL and click translate. Done!
Sometimes Google translates only part of the original file, this is probably because the content size is too much to be handled by the Google Translate. If this happens than try distributing the file content into more than one files and repeat from step 1 for each file.
Important: If the original document is multi-lingual than try using Slideshare since it handles foreign languages slightly better than Zoho Viewer. You will need to make an account first on Slideshare before uploading the files. Slideshare will create a text transcript of your document that you can pass on to Google Translate for converting into another language.
