Learning new languages is always fascinating and having a language tutor right in your pocket at all times is even more so. Having been available on the web space and iOS operated devices for some time now, Babbel has now introduced its language learning apps for Android. Much like the web app, Babbel’s Android version is very practical for learning basic vocabulary of the 11 languages available on it for now.
The 11 languages available on the Android platform include Spanish, French, English, Polish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Turkish, Indonesia, Swedish and Dutch, all of whom are offered in the form of separate apps which can be downloaded and installed on your Android device.
The method employed by the Babbel apps is similar to the language teaching pattern taken up by teachers and instructors for elementary school-going kids. It illustrates the word by showing relevant images and even provides the correct pronunciation for the word.
Moreover, each of the language learning apps by Babbel offers interactive exercises which allow the users to test the language vocabulary they have learned while using the app.
The basic versions of Babbel’s language learning apps are available for free on Google Play. On downloading the app, users get the basic package for the language they wish to learn, which can then be upgraded to the advanced version upon creating an account on Babbel. Additionally, by creating an account on Babbel, you can also save your progress and review it later.
