So here is an interesting new application: NoteOnHand is brand new software for your Android phone being touted by the Google Chrome Web Store.

This application is basically configured to transfer short notes from your PC to your Android mobile phone. You can type quick notes in to the notes section on the landing page of the NoteOnHand.com website and transfer them to your Android phone. Although you do not need to download and install the application to you PC, you are required to download the application to your mobile phone.

The application works best when used in the Chrome browser, but you can open the site on other browsers and send notes from there as well. Also, you also do not need to especially register with the website if you already have an existing Google account. You can just sign in using your Google username and password.

NoteOnHand is a handy tool when you want to transfer quick links, and other short notes which you may need to use on-the-fly such as e-mail addresses, phone numbers, other addresses that you want to visit, shopping lists etc.  It is much more convenient than typing out the notes into your mobile.

However, most users would find it much more convenient to use if the application had a two-way sync feature to transfer notes back from the mobile to the computer. Well, this is just Version 1. We can hope that the next version will include that feature as well!

You can download the free version from either NoteOnHand or from the Chrome Web Store.
