The phenomenon that Pinterest has gone on to become, it is no surprise that every upcoming web or mobile app aspires to be associated with it in some way or the other. We have already discussed the unofficial mobile app clients for Pinterest like Pinboard and Pinteresting. And then there are websites that are based on the information they pull from Pinterest and put their own creative spin to it. Take for example the newly introduced PinPuzzle app for iOS operated device that effectively converts your Pinterest board to a sliding puzzle game.
Created by Michele Mastroianni and Stefano Mendicino, the game app makes use of the photos on your or other users’ Pinterest boards, forming a puzzle out of it. With countless images pouring into the photo-sharing site every hour, you can rest assured that the game will not come to an end and can go on and on till you want to play.
To begin with, players are required to provide the username of the Pinterest account they would be using to play the game on. The app first shows the users the complete picture and then converts the same into a puzzle which they have to put together. The game gets tougher as you progress through it, with the app dividing each photo into a greater number of pieces. The speed with which you put the puzzle together consequently determines the score you get.
PinPuzzle is available on iTunes for $0.99.
