CNNGo, which has been around on Nokia and iOS for quite some time, is now available as an Android app. Based on the popular travel show on CNN by the same name, the CNNGo app comprises informative articles, images, travel guides, important landmark details and users’ personal experiences of traveling to different places around the world.
To access the information present on the official Android client of CNNGo, users do not need to subscribe to the app or create an account. You may need to sign in order to publish your travel experience using the iReports feature, although you may even use the feature without signing in, in which case you can publish your personal travelogue as a guest. These user-generated reports can be supported by relevant photographs or video clips, which you can choose from your existing images or videos or can come up with them right there and then.
When you start using the app, it leads you to the welcome screen which features the most recently posted articles, pictures and iReports. In order to read the next article, all you need to do is to swipe across your mobile screen. The app also allows you to share stories on social media like Facebook and Twitter, or you can email it as well. Moreover, you can run a search for any location you want using the app’s search bar.
