Flickr has had this feature for a while and Google Image search is now catching up! Google announced today that users will be able to search for re-usable pictures under creative common license. To do this, you will have to go to the Advanced Search option in image search and choose the license type.
Google does warn though that you will still have to make sure the image is re-usable under creative commons and not take Google’s tagging as 100% accurate.
