Bloggers often feel the need of using an image to emphasize their point. Sometimes these images are personally created but more than often, bloggers go to the many stock photography sites to obtain an image. If you don’t find what you desire on one site, you go to another site and then another one. PicFindr is a web application that makes the process convenient by letting you search multiple stock photography sites simultaneously.
When you enter a keyword on PicFindr, it searches through various stock photography sites including Freerange, DreamsTime, ImageAfter, GimpSavvy, PDPhoto, FreeDigitalPhotos, Stock.xchng and FreePhotosBank. Once the results are displayed, you can filter them by the type of license they carry.
Hovering your mouse over an image gives you an enlarged preview of the image and if you like it, you can just click the “Go get it” link to go to the actual website.
