Search The Real-Time Web With OneRiot

Blog Widget by LinkWithin

Traditional search engines like Google can get to a lot of information very quickly, but sometimes it takes them several hours to index a newly created web page and by that time, the news might be old. OneRiot is solving this problem by letting people search through social media like Twitter and Digg. OneRiot works by looking at the links shared through Digg and Twitter and indexing the shared web pages.

The results you get with OneRiot are usually from the last few minutes and tells you when it the original news was shared for the first time. You can also search for videos and track a search topic through RSS feeds. If you like a certain result, you can share it on twitter with a single-click or see how many people shared it on Digg.
