David Estes has developed a new i-scribe application for people who love taking copious notes during presentations, meetings and recording lectures etc.  So whether you like making quick notes, doing voice recordings or just like drawing doodles during a dull presentation, SoundNote is definitely going to become your new best friend and how.

The latest version of this awesome iPad application can be used for writing free text, drawing quick, easily editable sketches and for recording audio. The audio playback feature has been integrated with the notes pad in such a manner that a quick tap on a word from the notes text will take you directly to the part of the audio recording that was done at the same time as the word was written onto the iPad. The audio files are recorded in standard M4A format to keep the size of the files small and for easy storage.

Apart from fixing all the audio bugs in the previous version, some additional features have been added, such as being able to transfer the data from your iPad to your PC. The only drawback you may face while using SoundNote is that the text cannot be formatted on the fly. You will probably have to save the file onto your PC in another format like MS Word and then format the text.

Go ahead and get yourself application from here.
